After 3 weeks between 4% and 7% of the membership have stated that they are prepared to change. (The variation depends on whether you believe there are 840 or 500 members).
Pretty conclusive proof that there is no appetite for change..........

TBH... I think there would be more of a response it was posted as a 'global' thread so that is is visable in all regions! I tend to look first at the NW section and can post for an hour or two before even looking at other sections of the forum, then, more often than not I have to come off!

I havn't read the whole thread but from what i have read i take it your wanting to switch to newer forums? and forums you have control over? if that's the case i say go for it cos these forums are so basic and limited and for an organisation like f-register i find that kinda hard to believe. although please correct me if i'm wrong and got the wrong end of the stick I think people see f-register as quite a big organisation now but when i look at it it all looks very mixed up to me, although the events are extremely well managed and organised the website and forums seem all over the place to me and the forums are very basic. do the guys with admin rights not have access to the data at all to download and save? (backup) if not that's very bad if something goes wrong, if you do though that data can be converted to a new set of forums so all the members remain in tact. although you will have to pass on the new link to the forums. you could always get everyones contact details and send out a mass newsletter to everyone stating the new forums site, those interested will re-join those not interested won't and hardly worth having them on here if they no longer have an interest?? what i find wierd too is every region has their own web site home page all in different formats, surely it would make sense to have everyone on the same format throughout the country to make it look a bit more pro?? sorry if i speak out of turn, please forgive me if i do, it's just things i've noticed hence i never really posted on here when i joined the forums cos it just seemed a bit messed up to me....i may have the wrong end of the stick from what i've read. well can I just say as a newbie this year to the f register I am more than pleased with it! friendly and helpful bunch, Im very proud to say I have actually met so many genuine lovely people at the meets so far. always quick to respond to any queries or probs I may have, I do tend to go on local site first (find out the local gossip) lol and if I need to go further a field to other regions, so all in all Im happy with things the way they are but who am i ? just a mere mortal.......
