Hi - I'm Dave, As I have a company car which must have a roof and 4 doors, I managed to talk my wife into buying herself a brand new MGTF 115 last summer so I get to drive it on weekends.
This was one of the last ever made, 2005 model, 06 reg, and was a bargain- Ive fitted a trophy rear spoiler, X part rolls hoops and given it the chrome look which looks wonderful with the black paint.
I even bought a new much bigger shed to put the hard top in for summer. There's comittment.eh.
Recently joined the MGCC.
Can anyone tell me how to post pictures here.
Also is it true what I have heard which is the 1.6 Engine does not suffer from HGF as it is under less stress than the 1.8 or is that a myth. ;D

Welcome! Unfortunately it's more a myth. There are less reported cases, but that's because less were made. Just do the usual keeping an eye on things and you'll be right as rain

Hi Mike, welcome to the Register.
You have heaps of friends in your area, the NW is quite well looked after by Steve and Mark.
Post a hello in the NW section and they will soon be there. Meets etc. are on the NW pages for you to catch up on.
Send me your picture I'll put it up for you, it's quicker to do than to write how.

If you have the time for a picture that special please bear in mind our 2008 calendar, I am always looking for really artistic/clever pictures, seasonal if possible.
Send me one for your avatar of course, please put your location on your profile, it will appear below your login name, it's easier for the reps, and others to identify those local to them.
Enjoy the social scene and the car, they come as a pair here.
