This is especially geared up for the new members or guests who are here for the first time. Use these pages to tell us about yourself and where you are in the world, our reps will pick up on your location and be in contact with you, please put the area where you live on your location on the personal bio so we all know. On these pages you will find a wealth of information about the MGF/TF and the people who own, drive and love them. Feel free to take part in active questions and answers we like to keep this a friendly place to go and meet your friends. Don't hesitate to ask if you have a question, we have people on here with ten years of F owning experience, there is not much they don't know about these cars. Many of the members here will pick up on new ideas and technologies and bring it to the attention of all of us, so we are looking ahead not just reminiscing. It's not all about men and their cars, many of our members (and some reps and committee) are ladies so we try to cater for all people. If you have a particular interest bring it to our attention, normally somebody else will share that passion. Most of all enjoy yourself with the MGF Register, we are here for you, the members. Whose going to be the first new member to step forward and introduce themselves, don't be shy this is the starter page

Hi SPG, best bet is to register on here, instead of being a guest! When first get onto forum site, go to relevant section (eg general, announcements, technical, or an area), and there is a "New Thread" icon in the yellow shaded section near the top, on the right hand side. Where abouts are you from, either arrange to go to a local run / meet, and ask the question, or, if (unlike me) you know how to, post a picture on here and ask the question! Hope this helps!

Hi! I'm Roy 71 years young and have recently bought one of the last TFs - not a real one one of the Rover type. I started with a J2 MG some 50 years ago before things like motorways let alone speed cameras. Then had a sprog eyed fright and a BN1 Healey before ending up with an MGA. Then I got married! 40 years later and I am back in an MG(ish). Is my eyesight failing or MG owners nowadays a stand offish lot. We used to wave to one another now I wave to them and they glare back. See you sometime. Roy

'tis a sad state at times. You merrily wave to fellow MG drivers and get completly blanked I had quite a cheery wave in return from a B driver the other week, gave me a nice warm feeling to know that there are still people who'll wave back
