Spot on Tim, that's why I planned it that way, although I used my trusty map, so you have more precise calculations than me.
So, therefore, we are spending some time in Denmark with a short tour of Copenhagen, we are trying to get the cars alondside the mermaid, don't know at this stage if it is possible, but we'll see.
We will be taking a tour of the area in Southern Sweden and staying overnight in Helsingborg on the Sunday after the event, from there, Monday morning we go our own ways home or spend some more time in tha area as arranged.
Another reason why I used Norfolk Lines, as I did last year, great prices, you will see £24.00 return journey.
3 day returns, as for Kempenrit are £22.00 each way.
Have you, or others booked the ferries yet ?
I know Tony has.
So Plan A it is then.

So we are planned. Home to Harwich 180 Miles. Harwich - Esbjerg 14/06 1800 15/06 1300 It is 40 Miles to Kolding-Nord (E20 & E45 junction) and a further 60M to the bridge at Storebaeltsbroen where there may be a suitable AutoStop to meet you if convenient. After the MGCC Sweden Meet, we will go a little further north and maybe take a ferry back to Denmark for the 23/06 1700 ferry from Esbjerg. We will not be taking a long tour as we will be doing that next month to Switzerland. Adrian. Will you be at Stoneleigh ?? We could discuss more then. Off Subject. Is anyone coming for Stoneleigh to Stop Over on Saturday ?? Geoff F.

Yes I will be at Stoneleigh, I will be working on the F register stand for the first couple of hours but after that and a walk around, we can talk all day.
I will ask Kjeld to suggest a meeting place that is convenient.
Tim and David will be there also, probably Tony Thompson as well, although I'm not sure about him.
Welcome to the forum by the way I noticed you had registered.

Hi Geoff, we'll likely meet at Stoneleigh too!
Right that's us booked outward, 10:00 June 14th along with the others....
Haven't booked return yet, as I'm tempted to treat ourselves to a one-night mini-cruise (!) on the Monday night Esbjerg-Harwich ferry. Multimap says 316 miles or just over 4 1/2 hours from Falkenberg to Esbjerg, so departure mid-morning should see us on the 17:00 boat no problem. Unless anyone knows otherwise? Open to advice/suggestions please....
Tony I'm sending you a PM...

That would be nice I enclose a piece fron Hakan's last mail to me today that may be of interest : I have booked the best hotel in helsingborg in the narbour for around SEK 1200:-/room incl.breakfast (Euro 130:-) on our company rate and we do Helsingborg by night on sunday evening/night. Perfect with us! I have just got all information on Scandinavian MG Event June 16-18 I will translate invitation and asked for IBAN number for payment. I have today posted my application to be sure of hotelrooms. ASAP I will send over invitation and payment instruction. Roadbook will be available in english. The whole MG Car Club of Sweden is really looking forward for this unique visit of MGF:s from abroad and all is thanks for you asking me to become Scandinavian representative for MGF!! Lucky for us that we met in Holland!!! This equates to £88.40 by my calculations, an opportunity not to be missed I say, is this OK with you all. I will still leave on Monday am for a different drive home, via Holland and Daphne's for an overnight stop.

I really would love to go if I could get the weekend off. I'm off the week before (10 June - 16th June). I'm also off on the 19th June so that would give me a a bit time to get back before I go back to work, but I'm working on the 17th and 18th!
I'm going to read up on the event now, hopefully if I can sort something out about work I might be able to make it.

Quite right Tim, the route and costs are being finalised, it is expected to be a balance of reasonable driving days with great scenery, photo opportunities, good food, good company and apparently the MGCC Sweden are so looking forward to the visit of F's from the UK. No TF's signed up yet.
There are a few people, that I know of who are looking at coming so the possibility of more is alive.
I will keep you updated on this.
If anybody is interested in this, or any other European event, and require more details, just drop me a line.
Tim has full details of UK events.
