This is on April 1st, yes really.
It is a great day at the old Brooklands museum, Weybridge, Surrey you could always pop in to the new MB World for an hour or so.
We will have a couple of TF's on display, as this year will be themed around TF5 and all cars are more than welcome.
Rich, in the South Midlands has suggested his April pub meet is a run to the museum, good creative idea that, anybody else think that's a good idea ? The F's and TF's are the group moving forward, let's keep that momentum going shall we ?
If you get your name down quick enough, you may be able to drive up test hill, that is an experience that no one should miss.
There is plenty to do for a day at Brooklands so come as a group or individually but be there if you can.

Would like to do this, but as it's my sister's birthday (1st April, kinda explains a lot) I don't think it'll go down too well. Will try to sort something out nearer the time, no promises...

Last year I missed it due to doing my white van man impression (swearing and disregard for other road users included) so I hope to make this year's event!

Stephen, unlikely as Brooklands does get busy, however if you ask the marshalls early or late, when it is quieter they are usually very obliging.
It's all a matter of safety on site I'm afraid, however if you get the nod for the drive up test hill, you park on the banking before being allowed back to the start, we got three runs last year.
If you go to MB World, the non-MG parking (commoners to them) use a large section of the banking, we done it last year with the Airport Run. Most cars sit at the bottom, we tested our handbrakes and winched them up the steepest bit we could find.

I am tempted to come along, just the 2-hour slog down the M1 and M25 is putting me off slightly! Mind you it could be an early (by exactly 2 months) 5th birthday for my TF.
I will have a think about it, do you need to pre book?

It's fully open to everybody Chris so no prebooking. May be necessary if you want to drive up "the hill" (see earlier Adrian post). Otherwise, see what the weather is like and then decide.
Bacon sarnies in cafe are pretty good.
MGs park near museum etc while plebbie cars are in general.
I'll be there for the anniversary of the first time I every received an age related concession.
