Cheers y'all - thanks for the support!!! ;D Spike and Shaun...should be a good run down for you!! Me and Shaun are meeting up at Blyth services, probably around 9:30am ish.Yikes thats early! I will make sure that I am also up bright and early - it's only fair!! lets get em Spike hope they sell proper ale John Smiths or Black Sheep hope they sell proper ale - should be OSH for an MG meet!!!!! I will have to check the ale situation in advance. I will have to sample of course - all part of the job in setting up meets!! ;D Work not pleasure - honest!!LOL If I remember correctly they are a Greene King pub (most are down our way) because I first tried 'Beer to dine for' there a couple of years ago when it was being promoted. That means there is a good chance they sell OSH. If not I have a couple of crates in the garage ;D and I will bring one along!! List now reads: Jon Adrian & Dawn Debs Sean & Claire Susan Allan (welcome to the freg mate!) Spike & Bev Shaun & Kim John and co-pilot (possible) Steven & Jill John & Lynn

Howdy all, Just thought that I would check that everyone is OK for directions on Sunday? Shouldn't be too tough to get to for the first time. Leave the A14 and follow signs to: St Ives>> Earith>> Needingworth>> Holywell>> Holywell village is really just one road leading to the river. Just follow the road to the end, and bingo.... there's the pub ;D If anyone is unsure, doesn't have Sat Nav etc, let me know. It would be easy to meet up at Cambridge "Extra" Services on the A14 before hand if needs be, and I can lead you in. It is easily accessible from both sides of the A14 and only about 4 min's south of the St Ives turn off (and about 15 min's from the pub). On the map it "point 1" near Boxworth. On Sunday you can contact me on telephone: 07990 695723 Oh and just one final reminder for those unsure of the location........................... Leave the surfboards at home....... this is St Ives, Cambs......... not St Ives, Cornwall ;D Otherwise see you there! Cheers Jon

I dont know Spike the southeners get directions from within their own area but me and you have to struggle on our own, i mean what if us cant find this hamlet called Huntingdon whats uz gonna do fend for usselves?, we'll be lost in a strange land where people are gonna look at us in a strange manner, do you think they'll understand us if we stop and ask a local with "Assez sahtern chap as appear ta be lost could theur direct uz teur t' ferryboa' public 'ouse i' 'olywell its eur greene kin establishment" I dunt thick so oh well me & Spike will try us best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha ....comedy post!! ;D LOL - how do I translate it?? I think that I got the jist of it though. Actually I chose the meet up point, if you want to use it, because it is equally accessible from north and south of A14. Got a few people coming from different regions - both north and south! No-one from midlands though.... For you and Spike after the 4 lanes of motorway goodness on the A1 ends, take A14 for about 8 miles towards Cambridge / London. Hoped that you that would check in on this forum. ;D Even done another map for you! ;D Hope that helps Jonathan
