In the absence of our esteemed leader a quorum at the Sunday lunch have unilaterally decided that the February evening meet will be at The Flower Pots, Cheriton SO24 0QQ.
Come and try the on site brewery products! Highly recommended, but if you want to try several - bring a chauffeur.

I'm in but not in the F...
The OH doesn't like driving it, and I fancy sampling the locally produced beverages...

This is sounding very pushbike in spite of forecast snow! Don't let that put your chauffeur off though Andrea!

I am sitting here in glorious sunshine, but am aware that there are dire warnings that tomorrow will be the end of the world in southern England - it may snow!!! (in Met office code this probably equates to a prediction of a heatwave)
Personally I love the challenge of driving in snow, it's all the incompetent to$$ers I can't stand.
However should the weather predictions prove right, I suspect most of us will reconsider our intentions of going to the 'Pots'. The main roads will (hopefully) have been treated, but it could be that the lanes to Cheriton aren't. I plan to assess the options tomorrow afternoon
Watch this space if you are interested in what I decide!!!

At less than a mile of level wide lane between A272 and Pots, I cannot imagine enough snow to make it even remotely challenging. The early catastophe warning system has never forgotten 'The hurricane' humiliation has it!
