I'm sorry I've been rather 'absent' recently. Just to notify you of the first of our (hopefully) regular informal pop-in-for-a-drink-and-a-natter 'Second Thursday in the Month' meets. The date - 12th October. The venue - The Bear and Ragged Staff. The time - 8pm-ish. Would be nice to gauge the reaction to this 'proposal'. Comments/possible attendees...please post below. Thank you!

Not a problem Paula. The idea (as discussed at our previous meets) is to have a weekday evening meet and a Sunday lunch meet every month - that way those who are otherwise engaged at weekends can try for the weekday evening, those who are busy through the week can make the weekend meet and those who are able to can attend both! Hopefully we'll see you at the next lunch meet!

Sorry Andie, I won't be at the evening one as its a long way to travel. I promise I'll be at the next Sunday one though and the dress will be left at home .

Hi Andie. The evening meets are a bit far for me, but I think that they are a good idea for those who are more local. I would like to make the next lunch, though.

Not meaning to hijack this thread, but if you know of a good pub in a sort of mid way between your place and Minehead I'd be quite happy to have an evening meet with you Nigel so we don't feel left out. We might even get a few more to turn up, I'll do a cross post thread on the D&C and WoE threads later today
