Hi all
I would prefer a weekday evening ...thurs is good for me but the first weds of the month is not so good the idea of doing it twice a month to start is good and split the differance for milage and it will sort itself out !the sun for lunch/meet is a good idea and a weekday for evening? sounds good to me!!

Hi All If the meet is in the Christchurch area I'll be happy to join in as I live close by. Dont even think about Mudeford in summer as you will have to pay to park & it will be full of grockles!! Hi Andie if you need any help in this area I'd be happy to do so. Sealo0 PS I was tempted to leave the message like that to see how many peps were baffled but ~ im MikeS from another place!!!

Hi Mike! I'm glad you finally let slip who you are...!!!
Thanks for the offer of help. Although I'm the SCRR rep, we all pull together like a well maintained non-HGF K-series engine to make our section work for us (sounded good, didn't it...LOL!), so all help appreciated, as are all ideas!
Re the next meet.We have Kempenrit in two weeks time. That means the only weekend free now is the weekend before Kempenrit (12th/13th August). I think Nige's idea of The Churchillian would be a great place for a Sunday drive out - I think that should be the place for our next Sunday meet.
Who would be free for a Sunday meet on that weekend? Would it be better to postpone our next meet until after Kempenrit? If so, maybe we could try out our weekday evening meet idea pre-Kempenrit???
Just throwing the idea around.
Thoughts please!!!

Not being close to the "South Coast" (and maybe having missed it in previous postings on this thread) where is The Churchillian?

Not being close to the "South Coast" (and maybe having missed it in previous postings on this thread) where is The Churchillian? Hi Angela The Churchillian is on top of Portsdown Hill with tremendous views over the Solent (Portsmouth, IOW, Hayling Is.). It is here.... local.live.com/?mkt=en-gbNige

We wont be able to fit in anything before Kempenrit, as next weekend we will still be trying to get the house straight plus sort out things for Adams birthday which we wont be able to do the weekend prior to his birthday as normal as it is Kempenrit.

I am really an SEF member, but may be able to make a meet at the Chuchillian as I visit PNB and PTP for work and could probably stay on afterward. Has the Churchillian tidied itself up then? Lovely views, but it used to be a bit of a dive.

DJM, you know how much I'd LOVE to see you at a SC meet! ;D xxx Rather worried about your description of the Churchillian - Nige said it was a great place to go! HEY NIGE!!!! When was the last time you visited there???!
