Yep I agree Vonie we do need an xmas night out ;D Another suggestion, why not leave our Fs & TFs at home one night and meet in say Warrington/Manchester (cos they are pretty central to most of our regions regulars). That way we can really celebrate xmas with a meal and plenty of 'cheer' along with loads of laughs thrown in Two ways of doing it, we can either get the train (making sure the restaurant is near the station) or drive and stay over for the night. That way we can then decide whether it's Italian, Indian, Chinese or go for the more traditional turkey etc.

Ya we'll go for that but if its OK not fussy on Indian or Italian....boring or what. By the way that's only a preference and if it turns out the vote is for one of these wont stop us coming!! Also what Simon suggested sounds like fun.... I feel a vote coming on Rob

Rob, no worries, we can go for the trad xmas fayre rather than foreign wherever we end up ;D The only reason I suggested those locations was in an attempt to keep it central to the region and would be better suited for anyone not wanting to run to the expense of an overnight stay by using the train (assuming they want a drink). Yep, it does sound a goodnight out but we will need to factor in the cost of accommodation (or not drink) and to do it right, the hire of the costumes also, maybe Simon can work out the overall price per head ? As always, I am happy to go with the flow and go with the majority

Yes John worth a try to get group discount but will depend on how many want to go to make it a viable request. Without discount you are looking at £200 per couple plus drinks plus costume hire (if wanted) Over to you guys - some input please

TBH I don't think I will be going due to the cost! Way too much at this point in my life. A meal and a couple of drinks would suit me but my past record at voting doesn't stand me in good stead!! haha

I've just had another one of our 'regulars' say that it was going to be too expensive also. We need to have this as accessable to as many of us in the region as possible in terms of geographical location and cost.
We can sort the finer details as we go i.e food, venue etc. but what I need to know to get things moving is a show of hands as to how many would go with my original suggestion (or come up with one of your own).
Were going to have to make a start on this asap as we won't get in anywhere if we leave it too late. So as usual, I feel yet another list coming on, please add your name (and your suggestion if you want) ;D
