Yep Dave and Adrian seemed to disappear off in front, and Kris got split up never to be seen again. Tony and I managed to keep it together right through Essex.

Colin, I was a bit concerned when we arrived and you'd dropped off the end of the convoy! It was good to meet you, and I'm glad we didn't 'lose' you, on our first meeting and all! See you again soon I hope...

nice pics Neil - I think I need my specs for one of them though !
Busy on M40 on the way back but M25 was just about clear.
Good to meet so many people there - towards the end of the day the only cars left were F TFs and Zeds !

It wasn't me guv honest, I hate that road worse than the M25.
We were so far spread out, I phoned Emma just before the M25 to make sure she knew exactly where to go, I couldn't slow down any more nor could I see her or you.
David and Tony were also way out of sight, one in front, one behind.

From what I've read, I don't think the M40 was much better! Adrian, I saw you nose alongside just before I 'escaped' off along the M10 Everyone managed to negotiate their way round to the M25 AFAIK

I think you're right Dave.
Seemed a lose lose situation whichever route was taken.
I had to carry on to the end of the M1 but once I got past the M25 junction it went straight back to "normal" speeds.
Just couldn't believe where it came from! One minute we were all in a nice line in the 3rd lane and then everything just ground to a halt! I was half expecting to see a huge crash down the road but there wasn't anything.
All good fun though! ;D

God we were getting some looks when we were together (that's when Kris, Tony and I were). When we were stationary I had some lads in a car on the inside lane ask if were a 'convention' LOL!
Also I think there was a yellow Elise several cars in front of me as I kept thinking it was Kris, although I'm sure it wasn't. Tony and I seemed to manage to stay together right up until his junction on the M25, but we totally lost everyone else. I sped up as soon as we got to the M25 to see if I could catch up with either Adrian or Dave but couldn't see to find you.

It was an Orange Exige Em,
I was next to him in the middle lane for miles comparing exhaust notes!
I must of only been a couple of cars in front of you then?? ;D
