Red Arrow ?
I saw two aerobatic display aircraft, a Fiat G91 from Italy (Frecce Tricoleri) and an F4 Phantom from the US (Blue Angels) no Red Arrow though.

Adrian well it was a Alpha Jet painted up as a RAF red arrow(i think) ........inverted over in the back left corner of the museum....... the RAF do have half a dozen Alpha jets but im sure they haven't flown with the arrows.................... only spliting hairs !!!!!! trust me to notice !!!!!!! might make me a anorak?will have to sort out a pic-ie.......

the RAF do have half a dozen Alpha jets No we don't. (QinetiQ/DERA have twelve, but under UK aviation law because they're used as weapon test beds they have to wear a military serial number, although they're civilian aircraft operated by civilians) Suspect the Alpha you saw was a Red Arrows Folland Gnat from their pre-BAe Hawk days circa 1979....

Hi All, Thanks for all of the organisers, it was really a great event. Especially the Hockenheimring. I was happy to meet some many MG fiends and see so many MGs. Here you can find some stunning pictures: s151.photobucket.com/albums/s158/mgtf_hungary/EEothY2007/?start=all See you in 2008, Switzerland! It is only 433 days to meet there! ;D Gabor from Hungary

Cannonball BOB no ...it was definatly a Alpha jet......a picture will follow ......yes my mistake as tha Alpha jets are in military colours and military serials but fly out of Boscombe Down? DERA or what was.......... and i suppose they are civilians flying them!
Nice picture of the Gnat.....whats the history behind that photo? Is it one of the gnats that fly in the arrows colours today?

Nice as usual Dieter, thanks ! ....... but where are the dinner pics ? My first reaction too as I did expect some "teller-shots".... but no such shots, perhaps the German food is the guilty one ? Nice piccies everywhere !!!! A shame I couldn't join up.

Nice picture of the Gnat.....whats the history behind that photo? Is it one of the gnats that fly in the arrows colours today? No idea. It was just a Googled image I found. Not sure there are any ex-Reds Gnats still flying.
