This annual event is the largest gathering of MG's outside of the UK .
Next year it is the turn of Germany to host the event, it is to be held in the beautiful region around Heidelburg from the 24th to the 28th of May.
We will be attending with as many cars as possible, if you are interested please let me know, details are now starting to appear. You will be more than welcome to travel together or make your own way there and back, whatever you choose really, but we want to take a good showing of British F's and TF's.
If you have never attended the European Event of the Year, it is a massive event, usually car numbers are in excess of 350, it is not a static event like Silverstone, cars are taken on runs into the surrounding areas, evening entertainment is provided, all in all a great four days, or less if you can't make the whole event, should be guaranteed.
Dieter, our German representative is liaising very closely with the organisers of the event and we will be kept up to date as soon as announcements are made.
It has just been agreed that registration will commence from December 15th, so I would like your names if you are interested.
I have no details or costing at this stage, this is very early notice indeed. I am thinking of leaving the UK on Wednesday lunchtime with one overnight stop en route, the journey could be done in one day however I am aware that some cars may have several hundred miles to travel to reach Dover, so let's make a nice journey without too much driving on one day. I will organise our involvement from this end if you wish to join our convoy, so if you are interested (no firm commitment yet) please add your names. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to ask, I am more than happy to take all comments on board and create a great event enjoyed by all.
I can provide a couple of links to give you as much as I know at the moment :
