Hello all, I had the chance to join the MG Club Limburg some weeks ago on their trip in North Yorkshire (17-19th of May) and I would like to say that I loved this region very much. Great scenery and F-antastic roads to drive on. We stayed at Richmond (Scottish corner) which was OK, except the service during dinner time and at the bar. Although I saw many Zed-cars, the number of F's and TF's was rather limited... and they don't know how to wave at another MG. Anyway, I loved the places and hope to visit the region once again. A set of pictures can be found here: dennis.core-lan.nl/mgf/albumTripNorthYorkshireCheers, Erik PS. does everyone overthere has a Land Rover ?

Hey Erik,
Good to hear you enjoyed yourself!
Richmond is nice - did you manage to take in the view from the top of the castle keep? On the odd occasion I've been in Richmond, we usually visit a little pub on one of the side streets at the top of the hill. Never had a problem with the food or the service there. Nice ice cream at the shop about 1/2 way down the hill too.
Nobody waves anymore. If you wave at them, they look back at you as though you were propositioning them!
Great pictures too.
Lots of 4x4s in North Yorks - things can bet a bit remote over the winter months.
- Andy

Hi Erik, Scotch Corner hotel notoriously bad. Sorry to hear that. We do wave up here, well I do. Lots of MG owners out there who run the car as a mere means of transport! I saw a woman yesterday at a market who had her goods piled on top of here F roof... Andy, I wave at all Fs & TFs and I'm just saying hello!!
