Hello, sorry not been in touch for a bit, will explain all but not on the forum, bit personal. Anyone know where there is somewhere round here that can do some bodywork on my car, got a scrape on rear wing and few rust spots needs sorting. Any ideas will be appreciated. Many thanks, hope you are all well... Celine x

hi, Celine , don't know how far away from Sandy in beds you are ,but I know a retired car sprayer there , he did a super job on my Rover bumpers front and back for a £100

Celine,
Try calling Keith Young on telephone: 01353 778 440
They have a good rep for resprays and accident repairs - although not sure if they deal with rust repair. Worth a phonecall though.
Failing that you could try the Owners Club Workshop in Swavesey.
Cheers
Jon
BTW location is near Ely - a bit closer for you.

Hi Jon
Thanks for the info, they dont to rust repairs, and MGOC will surely cost a small fortune...
Hope you well.

Hi Jon Thanks for the info, they dont to rust repairs, and MGOC will surely cost a small fortune... Hard to say - they are a competitive business after all. I have found them more expensive for some things and cheaper for others. I have seen their work though and it is good, in fact when I was last in the workshop I saw a very good respray of a 'B' in Copperleaf Red - top colour ;D ;D - I don't think that modern metallic colours always look good on older cars - but this looked the money (OK I am biased - LOL). Also Debs Trophy Blue 'Midget' looks mint . Anyway sounds like Sean has got a good lead for you. Let us know how you get on. I need some rustwork done on the wheel arch of the 480 at some point - and it is beyond my paintwork skill I think. Good luck!

It's going well thanks. I have got the summerhouse built and all of the electrics wired up - so that's all of the major construction finished ;D. I need to take 2 upstairs bedroom doors off and saw a bit off the bottom as they snag on the threshold. I need to to fix and mount LCD TV to the main bedroom wall. Then it is just decorating the garden and stairwell - nothing major. Oh and I have to replace a couple of doors on overhead kitchen units - as the ones supplied were not according to my design...... but I guess that's about it ;D Future plan is to clear out the garage and put better wall units for tools etc. Soon be done - I wil have to have a MG house warming party when it is finished How about you - how you doing? Coming to Fest?

I don't own a tent ;D which is my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!! ;D Seriously though I think that I need to be my best on the day - as an ambassador to the Register - so I have opted for the luxury of the hotel

It's going well thanks. I have got the sum....... to have a MG house warming party when it is finished Alright Jon, long time no speak, if you need a hand with anything you're only down the road so just shout if you need a pair of hands or any tools. Wife's scenic comes in rather handy for hauling stuff about too.....
