Although not from Herts I do have a few mods planned for my F to be done over the winter. I was planning a remote boot release (in car and on remote), LED lighting and a new interior.

...... I was planning a remote boot release (in car and on remote), LED lighting and a new interior. Done all three and just got new seats.
Looking at new adjustable shocks next, plus also new led lighting to the wheel arches. Not sure wot other mods to do yet. Looking at poss internal mods as quite happy with the outside now. New radiator might be on the cards very soon as well.

After the amount of money spent on Fred this year I think I'll have a bit of time off... although I do have a few ideas for the interior I might try out!!

Car - hopefully new interior (or at least start it) new hood new exhaust (if old one wears out!!) collecting up satin finished or anodised finished bits and pieces (ashtray, seatbelt tidies and escutcheons, hoods clamps etc)
House - finish downstairs (stair bannister, curtain rails, TV & Gas fire on to wall) Move study from upstairs to downstairs (bigger than it sounds 500+ books on Ferrari, MG, Health and Safety, Interior Design + desk and computer) Move a couple of walls upstairs Plaster walls Decorate
Any help would be gratefully received. Roll on next summer!!

It is only a list!!
Hate to say it but the house looks favourite to get done, because we can then sell and move onto the next project.

This winter I will be mainly ....
replacing wheel bearings if they continue to fail at the rate of 1 each year.

Hmmm, I've got a couple that need doing too John. Thick end of £50 for a new bearing too or so I hear! Think I'll stick with the Landrover. EIGHT quid a corner.

Have been out this morning re-fitting my de-cat which I'd taken off for the MOT, went out for a drive after and had forgotten what a difference it makes, big grin on my face ;D Also took a pic of that mod I mentioned. Just go to the Latest Mods page on my Fred site, link below! www.mgfsoo.com

Soo, are there no end to your talents ? I wasn't so clever, I made a new one out of wood to match the interior, but that is sheer class, and a lot easier to fit !
