Guys, with the May Bank Holiday problem and June already looking extremely hectic with Castle Coombe and Silverstone weekend, I just want to put in advance 'warning' re June's meets.
Our evening meet will be on Thursday 14th June at the Bear and Ragged Staff, as usual. The Sunday lunch meet will be on Sunday 24th June, possibly at a Dorset venue - as yet undecided.
I know that several of you have mooted the idea of having a meet on 3rd June as a 'late May' meet. With June being so hectic, I think it would be too much to have an official meet on that day as it may detract from the official meets we already have to fit in. From the rep's point of view, I'd like to get June back on track with regard to the meets situation - one second Thursday meet and one Sunday lunch meet...but if you're all adamant that you want a third meet in June then so be it!!!

I think if people want to turn up for the 3rd June then we should go ahead. Not everyone may be planning on attending CC and Silverstone, and now the sunny weather is back with us then some people may wish to take advantage of that ;D

On that basis why not hold an event every weekend? Confucious say candle that burn twice as bright burn half as long.

I would like to have a crack at the Mayfly (pub) on June 3rd and will almost certainly do both of the official June ones as well - any one else?

Have a great day Andie. Hope the brolly and waders are not required!
Would have gone myself, but worried I might get locked in as part of the wildlife!
