Instead of joining some of you guys on the Gothic Endeavour run on 8th July, I will be taking part in the Bristol SunWalk. This event is a power-walked half marathon which is completed with the participants wearing decorated Wonderbras and shorts... The last WalkTheWalk event I took part in was a marathon in London 2 years ago - I did this at night whilst wearing a beaded and fringed Wonderbra, a pair of lycra shorts and a tiara! It wasn't so bad as no one could see much as the marathon began at midnight and I finished just after 6am! This time it will be DAYLIGHT...the humiliation...and, if you read the blurb on my charity site, you will see that I may have to embarrass myself even more should my target amount to be raised in donations be exceeded..... Please take a look at my site - www.justgiving.com/andiebIf you can sponsor me - no matter what the amount - I will be truly grateful. Thank you!!!! xxx

It has been noticed in despatches that you must now publish certain secret pictures... We are with the Solent MG lot are at the Coppleridge Inn this weekend - think I saw Gillingham close by...

This valient effort by Andie seems to have stalled!
Any more willing to help us reach our target of Andie attending an F Register Meet in her decorated Wonderbra (sorry £600)? Come on lads and lassies - if it was Jordan being sponsored I bet the target would have been achieved in minutes!

Guys, thanks for all your donations. I'm afraid I have to tell you that (a) I completed the power-walked half marathon (13.1 miles or approx 22 kilometres) in just over 3 hours, so you do have to pay up, and (b) I won't be arriving at a meet with decorated bra as I didn't break the barrier re amount raised. I did howver raise £390 for breast cancer care and research so it was well worth the effort...and the embarrassment of powerwalking around a very hot Bristol in a decorated bra and shorts....oh and the sunburned breast area and shoulders!
Thank you to all those who sponsored me. Every penny is really appreciated by the Walk The Walk charity.

PS - as you all obviously tuned into BBC Points West, you would have seen Lizzie and myself being interviewed by the BBC so pictures are not neccessary now.... ;D
