Thanks to you guys who made Sunday so good. Tops off being the order of the day. Well, the arvo' anyway. Four ef's if'n you count the saloon (it was an MG) as he really does have an ef, great sunny weather and dryish roads and a really nice lunch stop. Fantastic. Let's hope this is the start of some great days out for the rest of the year.
The next trip is 19th March and our destination will be the Arboreatum at Westonbirt, near Tetbury. It has a cafe and if enough of you let on you are coming we will try to book a table for lunch.
If you know another f'er in your neighbourhood then give them a pointer at the website. More the merrier.

Just posting the letter of meets for this year so far - hope ya dont mind!!
Sunday 19th March: Drive / Natter, Westonbirt Arboretum, near Tetbury. Meet at Sainburys car park, Hankeridge business Park, Taunton, (Near to J25 M5) in time to leave at 10am. Entrance to Park is £6.50 per adult; £5.50 per person for disabled, senior citizens and students. There is a café on site as well as a plant shop. Bring your wellies for a walk amongst the trees. Hugging is free. (hugging trees that is – I charge!).
Sunday 23rd April: Drive / Natter, Compton Abbas airfield, near Shaftsbury. Meet at the Little Chef at Southfields roundabout (J A303/358 near Ilminster) in time to leave at 10am. Wander the lanes of Somerset and Dorset and lunch overlooking the rolling countryside. If you contact us at least a week beforehand we can reserve a table.
Sunday May 7th 2006: Atlantic Coast Express Run. This event is organised by the Devon and Cornwall Centre MGCC and is a very well run event. The idea is to follow as near as possible the various routes of the old Southern Railway and this year will start at Okehampton and end at Honiton. Cost is £25, which includes a £10 non-refundable deposit and if drivers require tea / coffee at the start and a cream tea at the end they should pay an extra £5.70p. Sue and I have booked our place and if you want to go, please provide us with your address details and we will send you an application form. The event is limited to 85 cars and our experience is that it fills up very quickly. We will organise a drive to the event so contact us for details.
Please contact us with details of any events you can organise for our region. We shall be visiting Cornwall and South Devon later in the year and there may be other big events organised by other centres that we will hook up with. We look forwards to seeing you there.
