Hi Stu,
Yes I can help you, it was on a BRG TF...owned by Ian Ross, I'm sure he posts on here as Iaross, he has them made in vinyl I think and replaces as necessary. Hope this helps, he's coming up to mine on Friday, if you dont get hold of him, i'll ask him to PM you

Thanks Lee, will have a look round. Got a brass one off e-bay but a bit large for bonnet, will have to go on grille.

A word of warning Stu. I had an OSH bar plaque on the grille of my old MG Montego Turbo a 'few' years ago. Stonechips aside, the paint gradually faded and fell off the plaque, mainly due to loads of direct sunlight and general driving conditions.
If you plan to fit one, I would recommend giving a coat of lacquer at least to protect it a little, but the colours still may fade. Remember that they were designed to sit in a pub with no road abuse!
What made it worse for me was that mine was one of the rare plaques with the small MG logo on. They go for a fortune now on eBay as most don't have it anymore. Luckily I managed to get another one but it's sat safely in a display cabinet in my living room!
You could always try one of the new shaped plastic ones though!
Rich.

Thanks Rich, i know what you mean, I got one off e-bay this week, too big in my opinion, for the F. Would look good on the lower grille on my ZT though,;D You are right about the finish, will have to find a good lacquer? to protect it. Will post any gratifying results ;D

Right...First attempt ;D Because I do more miles in the ZT I thought I would try it on there first. See how it lasts etc..etc.. Quite pleased with the results, just got to settle on the final design, I know there is a proper MG one somewhere, just not found it yet.

Here's a scan of the badge with the MG logo on. I'm sorry about the dark strip but that's the shiny gold bit and the scanner didn't like it! It gives you an idea of the layout though! Here's my badge collection... If you have the original artwork in reasonable condition, I can adapt it for you to match the above... PM me if you like! Rich.

Is the artwork for the more recent one or the MG one?
Rich.
