Our next pub meeting is on Sunday 26th August, at our usual venue - Toby Carvery, East Hunsbury, Northampton - from 11am.
Bit later in the month this time as we've got alot happening on previous weekends.
Please check the website as usual for further details (directions, etc). Please let me know you're coming if you can, by posting here or just email/PM me.
If the weather is still nice and everyone gets to the pub before 12noon, we may do a run out to another pub. What do you think?
Rich
Attendees so far:
Rich & Kate Dave & Moira Stewart Maxine (If she's out of bed and sober!) David & Jenny Gillon & Becci (HG fix permitting) Phil (Hopefully) Chas & Jill Lee & debs

At present Jenny & I are planning to make it to meet some of you folks. Didn't really have much of a chance to catch up with you at MGFest as you were all very busy organising the events. Will be my first Register event in our newly acquired TF135 after 9-years of MGB ownership See you then David & Jenny Robinson RX06OBC

I spoke with Stewart and he said he was coming up from Witney and brining some caliper paint for me too He's on the list already... Third name! Rich. P.S. Don't need special calliper paint. Smooth hammerite (from Halfrauds or DIY sheds) works perfectly and is available in a few bright colours too. Did mine ages ago in bright red. Bit dirty at the mo but hasn't chipped off or faded.

Nobody has commented on the idea of a run out from our meeting place. Any last minute ideas? If not, but you would still like a drive (as it's going to be lovely and sunny!), I'll find us a place to go...
Any more for the meeting?
Rich.

That is a fair idea Rich but this time, as my Mum & Dad will be with us I doubt we would go for a run out and just have a natter and a meal.
Have you or anyone else seen the post in Announcements regarding the garden party at Willington (?) near to the MGOC at Swavesey on Monday for those looking for something to do on the bank holiday?

No problem Dave. Still might just take over the outside tables for a relaxing chat instead anyway, unless there's a sudden response!
With regards the Garden Party at Willington, that was one of the places I thought of driving to, as it's on for the whole weekend.
Rich.

Willingham - not Willington ;D If you are up for it let me know - as I am only down the road - and will try to make sure that I am there for your arrival. You've got my mobile number Rich? Cheers Jon
