I will be there but will be marshalling in the pit lane. I will be the one in the orange sweat shirt or the high viz waterproofs depending upon the weather. You can't miss me other than confusing me with all the others in the same outfits around the track

Not sure if I'm going to make this one unfortunately, due to other commitments. But I'll see what I can do... Rich

Great day out! some great MG racing including 3 old T Types. Also lots of XK Jags, big old Yanks, Triumphs all sorts! Thanks Keith!! Highlites for me were : - 3 T Types racing meeting Mark & Jo Field (Jigsaw Racing) who own ADU1B Spitfire (works replica) that was raced at the past 2 Classic Le Mans, and also Helen & Colin Elstrop who were the drivers there last year!

No problems Colin. How on earth did you get back to post at that time?? I have just got in, but then I did have to stay until the last race finished and cleared the pit lane. It was a good day - weather wise and racing wise. Fuller grids too over last year which can't be a bad thing but I do hope we get even more at the rest of the meetings. Quiet in the pits - which was good as there were only 3 of us to cover the whole length. Down side to the day for me was the Tin Top racing. Nice cars - but not enough of them to justify a 1 hour race. Also, the spectator attendance was real poor again. Not sure what the MGCC can do to get more spectators there but they really do have to do something. May be they need to give real good discounts to members or even free tickets if they buy one - BOGOF - works for the supermarkets. lol

I agree ref the Tin Tops - how long a race? I think that the MGCC need to promote these racedays more - maybe register stands / parking areas may encourage more??
