Hiya Mark - you kept this quiet!!!!
Well done and welcome as the new rep. How's bluey now - any news???
PM me so we can sort out times for sat morning.
Good luck with this area - bombs at the ready as the south west seems to be in hibernation 99% of the year.

So Mark, how does one become a rep without a car? Couldn't have gone to a better person! Congrats ;D

Well done Mark ;D I take it this means that Blueroadster will live to fight another day! ;D
I'm a Cornish girl myself so I'll look forward to coming on some jollies with you (as long as there is ice cream ;D )

Well done Mark!! Good luck with Devon & Cornwall (my home county!!) I hope I haven't trod on your toes with a potential Run to the Surf next June / July! Just seemed like a good idea whilst I was back home! (If the Hotel in mind plays ball, and a date can be sorted then its just about in the bag!) Cheers

Colin, it would be very adviseable to organise this between you as it is cross area(s).
The last link in the SW chain will soon be in place.
Don't forget the cc and oc as well, the more the merrier.

Hi Mark,
I lurk in deepest Devon and hope to meet up with you soon. I read about Blueroadster's injuries on the other sections' news - bad luck, and I hope he is better soon!

Congratulations on your appointment Mark (Hope this won't detract from your postings on SWMGF ;D ;D ;D ) I've been on a couple of SW runs, (and have fond memories of both North and South Devon which I know very well) and I'm happy to travel to any of the other regions meets and runs, so just keep us informed of what's going on! Well Done

Good grief! This has come as a bit of a surprise-one day the idea is mentioned-I said I'd be interested and before you know it I'm a Rep! First of all, thank you for the kind words and encouragement,I'm still involved with David's SWMGF gang and will continue to do so as they are a very friendly bunch and organise plenty of varied events. I think that the idea behind a Devon and Cornwall group is to promote the club to other members who might not want to travel long distances to get to meets and events, also to encourage people to visit us here in the south west. I'm currently without transport because my F is still "missing in action",but that will not stop me attending Coast to coast this weekend-BIG thanks to Jay . I've no immediate plans for this region and will have to make it up as I go,thanks for the offers of help everyone. No doubt I'll Adrian and Tim will bend my ear this weekend and bring me up to speed. The "Run to the Surf" idea is great and I'd like to help with organising/promoting if possible. To everyone heading for Cardiff this weekend- Safe journey, see you at the start line.Remember,"It's not a race it's a rally, isn't it?" ;D Mark.
