Just in case you haven't seen it advertised elsewhere on the forum (is that possible LOL!) the big MG event of the year is MGFest07 - click here for the website. It is going to be a great ;D - well talked about event ;D for time to come I'm sure. You may or may not know but each of the regions will be having a regional paddock for group parking and showing off their car etc. I believe that there is a prize for the best regional paddock so if you have any ideas about making us stand out - let us know - be crazy and creative ;D. We would certainly like to see you, and if you are from the region you are more than welcome to join us. So that we have an idea of who will be attending and whether your cars will be available for the paddock and when - can you please stick your name below so we have an idea of numbers? We will probably be teaming up with Herts wheels area as well so we should have a good sized group ;D. I will be going there on the Friday to make the most of the weekend - so if you are interested in any convoys we can plan this from the list of people as it grows. Also we would certainly welcome anyone who can help out with the event as well. Just adding to this thread...... We could do with a theme for our parking area - maybe decorating it, maybe doing something funky with the cars.......anybody got any ideas? ?? Don't leave it up to me to come with an idea - it will probably be something totally bonkers and impractical - LOL ;D ;D Cheers Jon

Hi All Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make MG Fest. If you know any one who wants a weekend camping pass at a reduced rate pass on my details. It's come down to a choice between a weekend at Billing or some mods to the Land Rover, and the Landy won as we're off on a weeks jaunt around Derbyshire soon and Land's End to John O'Groats off road (well via Green Lanes as much as poss) next year to celebrate 60 years of Land Rover. See you on the next pub run though!
Regard to you all
David

Sorry to hear that Dave - but I know you are a massive Landy enthusiast. Why not bring down the Landy to test out the new mods? We may need you to drag the lowered 'F's and 'TF's out of the quagmire if it keeps on raining

may well do, cos we're gonna be in rockingham forest on sun so not too far away if there's loads of stuck mg's and it's very likely to be a quagmire cos there's a landy show there this weekend David

Having just returned from the Land Rover show i can confirm that if the weather continues as it has been there will be problems as at the moment the whole of Billing is 6 inches deep in mud ! ! Not a problem for the Range Rover or the Disco but the Trophy would be lost in the quagmire. Lets hope we get some dry weather soon ...............
