Hi Sean & Jonny Great news ~ have printed off some of your flyers and will keep in car to put under the wiper blades of any Fs I see ~ ..... makes mental note to wait until the car has stopped first ....LOL ;D ;D Count me in ~ not been to that neck of the woods before. If Jonny does arrange a run in then will meet on the M11, if not will use your map and make my own way there. Happy to help out in any adminny sort of way you might need ~ just need to shout and I'll do what I can.

Righty ho, let's keep this event bumped up. I have spoken to the landlady, and warned her that we may require feeding!! Their menu is on a good old traditional blackboard, so I couldn't scan anything in to the forum. Sundays are (predictably) mostly a Sunday Roast type affair mmmmmm... Starters (price ranging from £3.95 - £4.45) Garlic Mushrooms Garlic Bread with or without cheese. Prawn CENSORED - "Male Chicken"tail Soup of the day Japanese torpedo prawns (with Chilli Dip) Deep fried Brie / Camembert Whitebait
Main courses (price £7.95) Sunday Roast (Beef) served with Roast / Baby new potatoes & veg Sunday Roast (Pork) served with Roast / Baby new potatoes & veg Sunday Roast (Turkey) served with Roast / Baby new potatoes & veg Vegitarian Kiev served with Roast / Baby new potatoes & veg
Main courses (price £8.95) Sunday Roast (Lamb) served with Roast / Baby new potatoes & veg Sunday Roast (Chicken breast) served with Roast / Baby new potatoes & vegMega yummy deserts (price £3.95)Treacle pudding Apple pie Sticky toffee & butterscotch pudding Lemon pudding served with a lemon sauce Orange pudding served with a chocolate orange sauce American chocolate fudge cake Brandy snap and coffee crème gateaux American coffee cheesecake Banoffi banoffi (so good they named it twice?) All served with your choice of custard / cream / ice creamIce cream (price £2.50)Chocolate Vanilla Raspberry ripple Mint chocolate chip Specials (check on day for availability)Banana split (price £4.25) Peach melba (price £3.95) Personally I have never had Japanese torpedo prawns but they look the way forward!! They certainly sound tastier than a prawn CENSORED - "Male Chicken"tail If you want to drop me an email, PM, or post on here I will get a list / food order together. Desserts do not need to be ordered in advance and can be ordered on the day. If you don't want to order food, it won't be a problem either. The landlady will put together a group of tables so we can all sit together. As it is a bank holiday weekend, it could possibly be quite busy. If you want to try some Japanese torpedo prawns, or anything else on the menu, all advance orders will help the pub. Cheers Jon
