can any body help ,my Norton security has Finished so is my laptop in danger or is it that I will not get up-dates but I will be o/k as the programs are still active or are they it says they are on thanks john

It'll still have protection, but it'll be outdated so any new threats are less likely to be caught by it.

uninstall your Norton security and install avg free from the internet.it will also update its self and ofcorse its FREE!!.I have this and its graet no problems with it at all.
UNINSTALL YOUR NORTON SECURITY FIRST OR NORTON AND AVG WILL FIGHT AND SHUT YOUR COMPUTER DOWN!!!

UNINSTALL YOUR NORTON SECURITY FIRST OR NORTON AND AVG WILL FIGHT AND SHUT YOUR COMPUTER DOWN!!! I second that. However, you might need to visit the Norton website and download a removal tool. Using Add/Remove progs doesn't get rid of it all.

I didn't need to download a removal tool but its worth getting it to be on the safe side.

I've been using AVG for almost a year without any problems. As it's free it is the best value!!!. I removed Norton using the program on the computer.
