I bought a new time of day clock for my MGF mark 2 (MY2000) but it turnerd out to be part number YFB000240 (for an MGTF) not the YFB100450 fo the MGF. However it will fit in the console if the small locating lug is files off but it has a 4 pin connector. Can any one tell me the connections for this connector - I assume there are two for the power and two for the illumination (?).

For those of you who are interested I have now found the pin out (but i have not tried it yet, the pinning is (as you look at the back of the TF gauges with the connector at the top.) as follows - left to right:
Clock has 4 pins:
12V (purple), Illumination GND(red/white), Illumination 12V(red/black), GND(black)
Many thanks to IAROSS
