My other half has a 99 VVC MGF, goes like a rocket compared to my TF 135 however, I have noticed a hiss from the exhaust system which is more noticable when I change gear. Its quite a pronounced hiss - but I've not been able to get underneath yet to check it out.
Any ideas where to look first?
Thanks
Iain

First usual place would be the flexi pipe for a hissing sound.
Check all the gasket joins as well though while you're under there.
