I'm just about to fix Union Jack/Chequered flag badges below the side repeaters on my "F" but I've noticed that on Ebay they're shown with the Union Jack uppermost, whilst on a few car pics I've seen the chequered flag is on top - Could anyone tell me which is correct please?

All the badges that I've seen fitted to cars have the Union Do you mean a cigarette? at the bottom.

You will probably find they are 2 x the same badge and that they are slightly offset. so just to muddy the waters for you even more - depends on which flag you want to lead with - (then the obvious) the other one on the other side will be upside down!!!!!!
In short - I've no idea which way up they are supposed to be but have seen them every, which way they come.

Flying the Union Flag upside down is a sign of distress.....

Hi Michael, these ones (with the saltire/chequered flag) often appear on E Bay.

Michael, I'm trying to get in touch with Alan to see if he has any of these badges left. I'll let you know how I get on. I take it that this is the one you want -
