Hi ! Just seen the underside of my car, while getting some work done for the MOT and it looks like I could do with getting a brush and applying some underseal ( if that's what you do ) , as what has been on seems to have pretty much gone now . Any places I should avoid/recommendations ? Pictures welcome - out of interest MOT failed : The metal strap around the exhuast had rusted away and got that replaced : not best position for a thin piece of metal judging by how corroded it was Also orange indicator bulbs had lost there 'orangeiness' and needed replacing , re- MOT Friday, wish me luck...-

I just wired brushed and de-greased all the nasty bits then gave everthing a good coat of spray-on Hamerite. Front subframe and lower arms seem to be the worst for tin worm but also worth removing the front wheel arch liners and coating the inner wings around the side repeaters and leading edge where the wing meets the bonnet and light, as these are prone to rotting on older cars.. A few before/after.. before After... Edit..... And yes!, your 'F' won't have the springy bits, but most of the rest is the same!!
