I have (at last) managed to remove the Garage sticker from the rear screen today !! With all the sunlight n heat we've had today it softened the gum on it enough for me to remove it , but some of the gum has remained on the screen. Whats the best Fluid or concoction to remove said gum ?

NOT TRIED IT MYSELF on plastic rear screen material but have tried it on other plastics and it works well, so only a suggestion.......but Aldi have some stuff called 'Sticky Stuff Remover' well they had it in the bins they have on Thursday and I have bought it there before, might be worth considering.

I've got some 'Sticky Stuff Remover' that I bought from 'Kleeneze' and I know it's amazing stuff when getting rid of sticker marks. However, I would use it with caution on the back window. Perhaps try it on a corner where it wouldn't be so noticeable to make sure it doesn't mist the surface. Mind you, greygate polish may clear it up nicely! Sorry to be a bit vague Rich.

Liquid lighter fluid - rip a bit of kitchen roll of the same size and leave it on for a few seconds of soaking before it all comes off cleanly. It also gets all sticky price tag glue residue off anything - and the smell does go.

Greygate polish can be purchased from a few places but also direct from the FRegister at any event or see their EBay page below. It does a very good job of clearing the back screen, works just like magic. lol search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZmgfregister
