I have had a 96 F since May and was aware it was low getting feedback from fellow club members and doing the measurement, however I had so many people saying cosmetically it would spoil the looks if I had it pumped up, so I never. However after it grounding recently a couple of times, yes on quite uneven surfaces I decided I was going to go for the pump up. This post is for others like me who are undecided about getting it done, if its needs pumping up DO IT as I have found, without all the well recorded technical benefits you'll find the ride and handling so remarkably better you'll wonder what you have been waiting for ;D Hope this helps, as I say somebody like me who is reluctant to get it done....and by the way it doesn't make that much difference cosmetically anyway! That is why the Manufacturers spent many thousands of ££££££s to get it right regardless of the fact that the Go Fast Brigade know better. But, if you reset the height, then you need to follow it up with 4 wheel tracking otherwise you will have the tyre edge wear problem. Geoff F.

Go for the best of both worlds and have lowering knuckles/pins installed.
Geoff, the Go Fast Brigade wants to go fast, while the Manufacturers just want to deliver a car that does suit as many people as possible (driving a very wide range of roadtypes).
