hi everyone, most of you probably don't know me, I am fairly new here. Have my 2001 MGF VVC since almost a year now. Now I guess we all know the problem with those old Rover Metro Hubs 4/94,25 I think. the standard in the industry is 4/100. The MG ZR as far as I know has those. Does anyone know if you can swap them, new discs as well obviously. Or does anyone know a company who produces them as a custom order ?? I am kind of annoyed that all the 17" rims I like are 4/100 I don't want to fit spacer or adapter which changes the offset, I prefer a "proper" solution..

Your only options are the Mike Satur adaptors (which you dont want) or specificly sized aftermarket ones from the likes of TSW or Team Dynamics.. They are made to order, but are not that expensive [PEDANTIC] Oh, and there isnt a "Rover" ZR... only an MG one![/PEDANTIC]

>the standard in the industry is 4/100. 100 ? ? ? sounds like mils Me thought the UK stands for imperial standard [PEDANTIC] so 94,25 means in the right measure standard 3 3/4 inch [/PEDANTIC] btw Rover is Over

Honda had something to do with the metric spacing’s and Triumph had something to with the imperial spacing.
It's clear why the Honda standard was adopted but I am still not sure why AR adopted the even for the late 70's slightly odd Triumph spacings for the Metro, even though the original Metro had metric sized wheel and tyres!

This one does attract my attention as I will be looking at hubs and having a F/TF hub fitted on a Honda CRX. I've got far to many wheels for the F, that I don't want to invest money nor space into wheels for the track CRX I want to build.

but that still leaves my initial question unanswered.... do they fit on the F/ TF models?
or has anybody had the chance to compare them ?

Not meaning to be short..... we've already told you - Nope If you were able to get it fitted somehow.... get ready for your insurance company to bend you over, since it is a bona fida way of them NOT paying out.
