Spotted this whilst surfing today: Yes, that is a PC in a TF! For you late model MGF/TF owners with OBD compliant diagnostic ports, there is a whole world of tinkering fun to be had I have dropped these guys an email. They're in Scotland - and I wonder whether they'd do us an article for our FastForward magazine? I wonder whether this could function as a track day computer? Might be fun to have on board - and let's face it, with a PC, the potential uses for it are limited only by imagination, time and a bit of cash...

Think I'd rather keep my eyes on the road Rob.

Me too - this puts the stereo controls (touch screen monitor) much closer to the eyeline to the road - and thus arguably safer. In terms of in car entertainment, you can connect to your home WiFi network and transfer all your MP3 music - which is nice. Of course, if you really wanted to surf the internet on the move, you'd need a 3G mobile card... data rates are expensive, so I personally could not justify it, but some tariffs (such as T-Mobile's web-n-walk) are getting more competitive, which might just convince some to go for it. My interest is in connecting up the PC to the car's sensors for diagnostic purposes - plus additional ones for understanding more about what causes HGF - but others I am sure can think of other very interesting uses for this box of tricks.

Oh, and when I go to an Emerald ECU, I can use this to fine tune the base map settings... ;D

I've seen such thing some years ago, it was mounted in a silver TF... the guy had a blog and described the complete process of the built. Unfortunatly the pages went offline, so I haven't got any details anymore.
