Hi, has anyone any info on slight ridge that has appeared about 30mm from front edge of my bonnet?.
Its hardly noticable, I have read that it can happen if the bonnet is pushed down hard but I've never had to do that. I'm also sure the catch is aligned correctly. Seems strange it has appeared for no reason, is this a known fault?. I'm sure someone must have info on this.
thanks, Clive.

I dont have a ridge 30mm up but my paint work has gone yellow ish from the front edge up to about 30mm up the bonnet. Ive never heard of a ridge before. Seems strange. Is the bonnet stay clipped in correctly?

Yes bonnet still opens and closes as normal and stay is clipped in. I've also checked that the catch assembly has not moved. It's not a ridge exactly more like the last 30mm goes at a slightly different angle. It is more noticable from the side of the bonnet.

Hi Clive,
Every MG has this ridge in the bonnet ! So it's a common "problem"

I think Bruno means the ridge which goes all the way from the left to the right about 15 (?) mm from the front of the bonnet. About 99% of F's have this. I think you mean something else ?
