I have the following MGF I reluctantly need to sell and I’m not sure the best way to do this
MGF 1.8i R Registration, 41,000 miles only. Full service History by main delears. 6 CD Change, Walnut dash and leather steering wheel. Windshield. Soft top version. British Racing Green. In good condition as it is always undercover.
Seats are leather?sides but dark cloth.
No interior damage etc, one small mark on the left hand door.
For Price, the best offer I guess?

I'm still selling, some advice would be good. I have advertised price at £3250. But expect to be knocked down, is this too much?

We just sold a P reg on 44k in BRG for £3,195 (as a sale to a customer from a motor trader) so I dunno if that helps you work out the value at all?

Personally I think it is a bit high - but all cars are worth what people are willing to pay If it were me, I would sell the windstop on Ebay (You get £100-ish) or on the forums. Then put it up at £2950 ono and push the low mileage. On the older cars lots of service history and receipts help Good luck!

I just bought a P reg with similar mileage, no windstop (just puchased a windstop on ebay £75) for 2K. It might sound strange but I bought on impulse saw it parked outside a house one sunny weekend with the hood down and the wife and I thought how much fun it would be driving one of these and having it as a third car and we were right as we are are having great fun. This approach might be worth a try! As there might be other people passing just like us. Regards Rob
