is there any space left on this years event please Phone the hotel ( 01479 821203 ) or e-mail them ( salesnethybridge@strathmorehotels.com ) and see if they can accommodate you. Don't forget to mention that you are part of the MG weekend. If they can then you're in and all you need to do is drop me an e-mail and give me your details.

Is meal time at the hotel an informal affair - or lounge suits. Don't want to be under or over dressed for the occassion!

As long as you've got a clean pair of jeans you'll fit in just fine On the other hand if you want to wear your DJ feel free - someone might mistake you for a waiter though Seriously Dave wear what you want nobody will mind. The first couple of Highlanders I went on I used to dress for dinner, now I just go casual and so does the majority of others.

Surely both a lounge suits and a DJs are casual wear. A formal evening requires White Tie. However I do not propose to bring the old tails to Nethybridge due to space Constraints in the F!

Sorry to say that, due to a personal issue that's arisen, Jan and I are not going to be able to make it this year now. Hope to catch you guys at other events later this year

Sorry to hear that Mike. However, it means that there is a room free for anyone else that fancies going.

Nay Ted,
I accept that a lot of waiters do go to work casually dressed in a DJ but I have never seen one in white tie and tails.
Going home on the train after a white tie event is always a laugh and conversation piece. I tell ‘em that I am a magician and while I can’t pull a rabbit out of a hat, I can pull a hair out of my arse!
Hope you knee is better!
Cheers
Patrick

I've just been on to the hotel to make sure that everything is OK and to check numbers. They have a booking for Mike Brittin that I don't know anything about. It's not a problem, but I just wordered in anyone knew him and had contact details for him.

Just a quick note to say thank you to Dave and Gerry for organising a fantastic weekend. In all door to door Liz and I did over 1600 miles, the best being the awesome scenery in the Highlands. We will definately be attending next year to meet old and new friends. Once again many thanks, Ian and Liz Hunter. ;D
