The following has already been posted on the "Highlander 2006" Thread -
I know that we've just finished this year's event, but you've got to book well in advance for the number of people that we get.
So, over the last week I've been phoning around to see if I can find a better alternative to Nethy Bridge for next year's event. The criteria that has to be met is -
While I found some establishments that met some of the criteria, Nethey Bridge was the only one that met all of them. Also, we know what this hotel has to offer. If we go elsewhere then it's a bit of a leap into the dark.
So, Highlander 2007 will be from 4th - 7th May, 2007 and it will be held again at Nethybridge Hotel. The cost of dinner, bed and breakfast will be £48 per person per night (if you stay the three nights).
Nothing remains to be said except - see you there
Since posting it, I've had a few enquiries about how you go about booking for next year's event and so I've started a new Thread.
Basically numbers are limited by the hotel's accommodation. I reserve a certain number of rooms every year and when they're gone it means that you have to rely on spare capacity or cancellations. So, if you are thinking about going I would advise you to phone the hotel ( 01479 821203 ) or e-mail them ( salesnethybridge@strathmorehotels.com ) and book as early as possible. Once you've done that, drop me an e-mail and let me know how many is going so that I can keep in touch. It's as simple as that.
If you have any other questions just contact me.

- The hotel has to be suitably located.
- The hotel has to be large enough to take 20 - 30 cars and their occupants.
- The hotel has to have adequate safe parking.
- The hotel has to have a suitable method for paying.
- The costs have to be reasonable.
