Pete, you are a very naughty man....tut tut!!!! Why do I get the feeling that you guys are scared of me...?! Is it my insanity that terrifies....? By the way, can anyone tell me why my stitches itch like crazy tonight? Is it the change in the weather that does it?!

Not only is darling Alistair my very own 00-something-or-other but I now have my own 'Dr Alistair' too!!! Healing sounds good to me! Have to have them removed at the end of the week so maybe that will stop the itchiness! Guess I could come along in the snow tomorrow (if it happens to snow, I'm not convinced!) and bring some pliers and tweezers and you guys could assist in some medical procedures.....

Your stitches itch for the same reason a scab itches. Chemicals in the body sorting out the healing process. See working in the NHS teaches you something.
This week cuts and bruises - next week brain surgery ;D

... (if it happens to snow, I'm not convinced!) ... and bring some pliers and tweezers and you guys could assist in some medical procedures..... Sceptic!!!! It snowed up here and I cycled to hospital for an appointment with cardiologist. They thought my blood pressure and pulse were a bit high - I told them to get on my bike and cycle 4 miles through snow to see what happens. Then cardiologist phoned to say that, in spite of £180,000 pa and a huge Range Rover, he was turning back to home for the day. My Swiss Army Knife has the correct feature for removing stiches from nubile young ladies ... but they have to be very near to be and Dorset is not classified as near.

Pete Better still I have a full dissecting Kit with scalpels, tweezers and all sorts of pain inflicting items (relics from my days in the biology dissection lab) which could prove useful. I will bring them tonight in case Andie turns up.
