I know it is less than 24 hours since the op, but any news on how things went and how our girl is?

I had a text from Andrea late today. She's still in the land of the living thankfully ;D but sadly is in a great deal of pain from the op Hopefully this will pass soon as possible. But shes on the mend now all being well, and no doubt working on an escape plan as we speak.

If Andrea is sending text messages I hope its not effecting all the medical equipment she is hooked up to. Get well soon!!!.

I think not. Subject matter is currently incapacitated - therefore unlikely to retaliate immediately.

Bless you Steve...black is indeed black Cheekychops! Thank you to everyone for the sweet messages. First time I've come online for a week and I'm afraid that I'm only here now to kill time whilst waiting to take my next batch of painkillers - it bloody canes (my son's favourite way to describe hurty-type things!) and I can't even imbibe alcohol to dull it! I've forgotten what 'outside' is!!!! Keep up the good work, 004 and a bit more!!!!! xxx

good to see you back Andrea. Hopefully painkillers won't be needed for too long and you will get back to the red wine. xx

Yes - it's good to see you back. You have not been far from many people's thoughts of late, I suspect. Just think of all that undrunk wine waiting for you when you get home.

Andie - Good to hear from you. No pain, no gain!! Platitudes don't help do they!
I hope the op was totally successful and we can expect to see you in fine form shortly. We will raise a glass (or two) to your good health at Thursday's meet.
Are you likely to be well enough to make this month's lunch?
Hope David and the family have recovered from the bugs and are taking good care of you.
Aphrodite is pining for her pilot.

Good to see you're on the road to recovery. Stick with it Andie, the painkillers sedate you a little to allow the body to go through it's healing process - other alternatives are more risky. As Alistair said - No pain, no gain.
See you soon hopefully
