Going by the other thread (the 2nd Thursday one) it seems that you guys are keen on The Half Moon at Shaftesbury for the Sunday Lunch venue this month. If you are happy then I am happy! I will get David to pop in and get some more info during the week and post details later.
Did any of you eat there when we had our impromptu meeting last year? Curious as to what it was like...

Same as the 7 Stars, as it's a badger pub and the food is identical

Passed the 00 test! Good pub food, but not cordon bleu.

Thanks James and Alistair. So if we're happy with the Half Moon as a venue, can I have some idea who will be coming along?
Obviously I will be there, and hopefully so will David (and maybe Jake!).

As Jay said, it's just down the road, would be criminal to miss a chance to mingle with the SCRRs You can put my name down.

I would have liked to attend, but will have only just returned home after being away for a week. I'll try to make next month, though. Hope you all have a good time.

Thats a shame, Nigel...would have been lovely to have seen you again. You may have a slightly longer drive for the next SCRR Sunday lunch as it will probably be a Hampshire pub next time.
So....
Andie (+ other family members!) James Jay Alistair and Carol (I hope?!)
Any others?

After my thread over on .org about it being a nice day I'd have thought people would have been shedding HTs all over I'm afraid (as I have no need for one, I know some people do for various reasons, or even just personal preference) I could never fit one. I love being able to drop it on days like today
