You are setting a bad example. I spent much of yesterday being used as a horse, cow, pig, various other animals, and a tree. Eventually we returned home and I refreshed myself with a well-earned drink or two. I felt wonderful when I went to bed - but less so this morning.

Poor you, Nigel....take it easy today!
Apart from two 10 minute stints hiding from my mother-in-law (actually I was hiding for her sake as if I had remained in the room there may have been blood on the carpet!) I spent the entire day cooking, washing up, preparing more food, sorting out various gifts with complicated instructions (which no one else had bothered to read!) and tidying up mess.....and as I feel so yuck today I am visiting friends for coffee in an hour then hiding for a while with my D80 and its very thick manual....I think I deserve it!
And next year.............SOMEONE ELSE IN THE FAMILY IS HAVING MY BLOODY MOTHER-IN-LAW FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And next year.............SOMEONE ELSE IN THE FAMILY IS HAVING MY BLOODY MOTHER-IN-LAW FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHOUT AS LOUD AS YOU LIKE ANDIE but it won't be me!! This was first year since we married when we haven't spent 25/26 between our 2 mothers - either with them or at our home. This year we had daughter and 3 grandsons for most of chrissy day and had a wonderfull day. I'm trying to force Lyn in to relaxing today and staying in bed taking flu caps until she stops sneezing and coughing. My afternoon will (should) be visiting my mum in the "residential home for the older person" that she only went to 10 days ago. btw how are you getting on with the new Nikon? It's a bit dull around Herts at the moment, too dull even for 'atmospheric' pics although Friday was quite nice with frost and fog on the fields and hedgerows - left camera at home and only had phone and bicycle.

Andie - get busy 'F'ing in Jan, recovery in Feb, and then look forward to being able to enjoy the rest of 2007 doing whatever you want, particularly with Aphrodite, - we hope pain (and MinL?)free.
Dave - gives us the dates and lets see what can be arranged.
Now can I summon the energy and strength to de roof the TF and go out to blow away ye cobwebs, or do I curl up with a large Glenmorangie and one of the books I was given for Chrimbo.
