Oh and its not an electrical fault the brake warning light,I really do have hardly any brakes at all.So its into the garage for me now to sort it for Sunday. As Im bound to need the brakes for the snake pass. Sounds like a good idea, but I know there's no stopping these Spikes!! My wipers are fixed - mechanism comes apart due to poor design. The joint is a ball and socket, beautifully aligned so that any water/dirt runs into the socket and forms a nice rusting agent/grinding paste. This eventually reduces the size of the ball until it separates from the socket - result no bl**dy wiper and a bill for a refurb kit and labour. Perhaps NAG will cure the problem in the expected new TF. Sorry folks, rant over

James is far too young to be getting 44mpg. I have yet to better 42! I managed slightly better than 44 on my last tank.

I've just checked all my records and can only show a best of 42.6mpg. It must be all those hilly, twisty roads here in Devon. At least, that's my excuse!
