Sat nav has dropped dead on us!So we are finding our own way there and we all know how useless I am at map reading. We are setting off now,so if we arent there by 7pm start without us,as it means we're totally lost somewhere. We HOPE to see you there,we will try our best.

Sorry all, i'm not going to make tonight either. Been bed ridden for the last 2 days and only just risen from my pit. Hope you have a great time tonight and i'll be thinking of you all, wrapped up here in my duvet and popping pills like they're going out of fashion. Jay.

Just wanted to say thanks to Andie for organising the meal and thanks to everyone that turned up to it. Had a good time (even if Andie & David did manage to embarress me twice) and it was nice to meet everyone and putsome faces to the names. Jjourney home was a lot faster the the one there so I've made it home in one piece. Andie, Sorry I didn't say goodbye but I thought you were parked in the car park so went to turn my car on to let it warm up, looked around to say bye and you were no where to be seen.

Awww....Tony...sorry re the slip-ups! BTW, I was so chuffed to see you there! Great to see you again! Thanks to everyone who braved the weather - again! - and turned out for this. ;D I have just this minute waved off Spikee and Bev (yep, they did give in and stay at ours....I even slept in the single bed in the guest room and they had our bed!!!). David managed to leave at 5am as planned and Spikee and Bev and I have just spent the entire morning nattering and laughing! Oh Spikee, don't worry, I promise faithfully NOT to open the birthday gift you and Bev bought me...until my 40th on 2nd January! Oh, and huge thanks for the Rob Dougan cd....you spoil me! x James....are you sure you didn't have a waitress with you when you left? ! Oh, and if you 'misbehave at the table' again I will have to punish you! Thanks again everyone, it was great to see you all......!!!! Lovely to be well enough to make it to the pub (even if David had to drive me in the Landie and I had to sit down just after arriving so I didn't fall over!). XXX And thanks Adrian for the lovely call to wish us all a Happy Christmas! ;D xxx

If I misbehave? I'll start behaving when you do Good to hear Spike and Bev decided to stay, I'd never have managed to drive all the way back in the same night! I still want that waitress you wouldn't let me have, even if she did look "tarty" with the fashion faux pas. I could correct that quite easily Great to see you all again and I hope you all have a lovely christmas! See you next year!!!

hi all. thanks for a great evening at The Walnut Tree. James is obviously getting desperate on the waitress front, although I have no doubt he would have enjoyed resolving the fashion issue! Glad to hear Spike & Bev succumbed to the A & D pressure and sensibly stayed overnight. May they have a safe journey home. Why is it I always get problems with the TF when I see you lot? Driver's wiper packed in on the way home, collided with the n/s one - result spoiler on driver's wiper disintegrated and disappeared over top of car. Was new last weekend Nice little convoy with me leading Chris and Tony until I turned off for Salisbury. However I got totally confused at the junction and ended up back on the A303 (as did the MPV in front of me)! Caught Chris and Tony near Andover - bet they didn't realise I was behind them until Chris & I turned off for the A34, or that I was behind Chris all the way to Winchester! Looking forward to the January Meet - in the meantime 'Merry Christmas' to you all (including Adrian, who attended by 'phone!). We know that Andie is getting what she wants, really really wants, for Xmas - let's hope the rest of us are as lucky!! ;D

We made up back up north where we belong!lol Im so sorry we didnt make it in time for the meal, feel awful about letting you down like that, after all the effort gone into organising it Andrea, even though you are far from well. But we're so glad we made it in time for a couple of drinks and the inevitable laughs and a good natter with everyone. Hope you all got home okay and you get your car sorted out soon Alistair. Ive still no brakes by the way! Thanks for the hug James even though I wasnt a waitress. ;)I will be expecting that at EVERY meet from now on you now. Id just like to say a very special HUGE thank you to both the lovely Andrea and David for being so kind and generous in putting us up for the night (or should that be putting up with us?!?) and for letting us have the big bed while you two had to rough it. So kind of you both. Loved the good natter and giggles this morning over brekkie, which went on while lunch time,so from Bev and me,thank you so very much hun and please pass on our regards and best wishes to Dave please.x Hope you like the cd!And no,dont open your birthday pressie till the 2nd,or else it WILL explode Andrea.Oh yes

I did notice you on the A34 Alistair. I saw TF headlamps in my mirrors right up to the roundabout with the M3 and the A272. Also noticed that the same TF didn't seem to want to overtake me. I put 2 and 2 together Thanks a lot Andie. Was a great time. Well done to Spike and Bev for making it that far through some absolutely appauling conditons. I think many would've given up and headed home!

I worked out that I managed to average 44mpg on the way there and back. Damn efficiant cars these Fs I worked out that Im totally useless at map reading. Damn useless these Spikes. Im still gobsmacked at the lovely Andrea's kindness, that went way beyond the call of duty. ;D Oh and its not an electrical fault the brake warning light,I really do have hardly any brakes at all.So its into the garage for me now to sort it for Sunday. As Im bound to need the brakes for the snake pass.

James is far too young to be getting 44mpg. I have yet to better 42!
