Advance warning of our next evening meet - Thursday 9th November, 8pm-ish at the Bear and Ragged Staff, Michelmersh.
We can't allow Alistair to spend another evening talking to himself!!!! I will be joining him for a wee drink and a bag of salted peanuts! Feel free to join us - the more the merrier!

Steeling myself for this one! Currently 100% increase on the last one.
Come on folks - otherwise Andie will have to put up with a whole evening of me asking her all about Kent.
004 reporting for punishment duty Ma'am ;D

I can do Trivial, but not up to Pursuit Good to hear there should be some company. Sounds as if there should be about the right number to try any commandeer the comfy chairs round the fireplace! See you all tomorrow

Comfy chairs....thats what an old bird like me needs!!!!
Alistair, are you eating tonight? Charles is thinking of eating - says he's arriving around 7.30pm. I'm not partaking of the B&RSs delicious food - so if anyone is eating, please don't wait for me to arrive to order!

Will probably eat before I leave for the meet - depends on timing between my last appointment and leaving for the B&RS.
If I am too late home from the office my dinner may be in the dog (if we had one.....)!! In which case I will join Charles in partaking of the excellent fare on offer. Otherwise we can all enjoy the show watching him eat. ;D

Enjoy yourselves, and I hope you have as much fun as I did last Thursday at the pub with you You can keep the waitresses for yourself 004 as Fiona is starting to get a bit upset with the number of them I have in my closet Also I've done a little digging and have this spot of information for you... Agent 004 - Frederick Warder - Accompanied 002 and 007 to Gibraltar in The Living Daylights film; murdered by an individual pretending to be a KGB agent who left a tag on the body that read "Death to Spies" in Russian. Another 004 appears in the Benson novel The Facts of Death. In the GoldenEye video game on the Silo mission briefing, Q mentions to 007 to "remember to treat the timed explosives with respect - you remember what happened to 004 in Beirut" - whether this is another agent or the same one as above is unknown. I was right

Shame you can't join us again, James... Re 004...Alistair, I think you deserve another promotion.....I can't let you continue with your duties in the world of espionage with a dead agent's number attached to you!!! Consider yourself......004 and a bit!!!!!!

A little late...but I just wanted to thank Charles, Bob and Peter...and, of course, my very own secret agent Alistair, for coming along for a relaxed evening and some very varied conversation....! I went home (I didn't get in until 12.30am!) and managed to impress David with some very interesting little facts I'd picked up.... Thanks guys! x

Yes - thanks all for an entertaining evening.
Never mind Andie - by the time you got home I was putting lots of 'zeds' to use. However I had the long journey (as did James and Chris) the previous week!!
