Just to say THANKS to those from this area who took part in the charity rally! I hope you all enjoyed the day as much as we did! A fantastic drive, great scenery, fabulous people, and a picnic at Dyrham with friends (thanks to Spikee and Bev for the dessert....Dougal was actually very tasty! )... and the amazing photo opportunity at the end of the day - driving through the deer park down to Dyrham house and parking in front of it for official piccies...! AWESOME!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D For those who were sadly unable to attend yesterday - if this happens again next year then keep your diaries clear! I feel that this is a rally that needs to be done annually for various charities!

Sums the day up precisely!! ;D Just forming a new charity to be known as 'SCRR Meeting General Fund' (AKA 'SCRR MGF') to receive the benefit of next years rally. Could get quite a few pints for £500+ - unless our dear Chancellor increases the duty even further! Joking aside, it was a brilliant event and you can put my name down for next year's version, with the usual caveats of still being here and holding a driving license etc. - unless I get a better offer!

Was lovely to see you,Dave,James and Rich again.Plus got to meet some nice new people as in Jay,Adrian and numerous others too,but sadly forgot their names already.Sorry! Glad you enjoyed devouring Dougal,I thought youd like that as much as I did sticking the knife in it lol. ;D Shame Dougal's rump was so big, that even though they was 8 of us eating it,it still wasnt enough peolpe to finish it off! By the way James, love the sound of your exhaust,I think thats the one for me after hearing it,perfect. Also like your new pirate name Superb day out and Rich didnt lock his keys in the boot this time, well done mate. I hope to see you all again, and thanks for all the laughs, and especially Andie for getting me those shiney bits. They look ace! Will get some piccies up asap.

Spike - was great to meet you and Bev. You put us to shame being the first to Leigh Delamere Services. However it was pleasant to arrive on time with Rich in my slipstream, leaving only one late comer who shall remain nameless (won't she?! ) At the end of a great day the ceremonial sacrifice and consumption of Dougal was fitting and tasty - thanks. A pity you are not on Coast to Coast (it's still not too late) but look forward to meeting at a future event.

For my new persona as James The CENSORED - illegitimate person (love the filtering) what do you think of this for the next meet? Obviously my hair isn't that long, but given time and some dye...

James youre worrying us again Love the new look though, soooooo you and befitting to the new pirate name. You could also use a version of your new name for posh events,as in Rick Mayall's charecter Alan was known as in 'A New Statesman'. BTW....your silver bits look much better in real life than in the piccies,as Ive never seen them before.Hmmm..........
