We hope to be there around 4, I have not researched anything regarding food and liquid, from what you are saying I gather there is a restaurant/bar on site or nearby ? Do we have any indications of what time we will have to leave ( read ' get out of bed ' ) to be at Dover on time for the big meet up ?

Hi Art There is an attached restaurant - BeefEater or Harvester or similar - so food and evening drink no problems at all. Breakfast also in the same place. Premier to Dover Dock is 25 miles, partly M20 then A20 ---- say 30 mins --- say leave 08:30 to get to Norfolk checkin by 09:00. Time to get up? Takes me about an hour these days, used to be able to wake, shower, shave & leave for work in 15 mins.

Spike
good to see your name again. We will have a good time - no matter what the weather does - as we are driving MGs on the wrong side of the road, in a convoy, and then drinking Belgian beer and listening t6o Belgian rock music in the street.
Can life get much better?
God, I hope so!!!

Howdy people, I hope you don't mind me gatecrashing your little South Coast party, but I decided the trip down was a bit much to do in one day, and booked myself into Ashford North Hotel tomorrow night. Hopefully see you there. Oh ...and I am as quiet as church mice in the morning...just the evening that you have to worry about. ;DJon
