Just wondered if we could have an idea of how many SCRRs on the Kempenrit trip are considering staying overnight near Dover? Its a fairish old drive from this neck of the woods and staying in a Travelodge or similar near to Dover may appeal to those who want to start off fresh for the drive on Saturday morning.
At the moment, I've looked at possibly staying just off the M20/J8. The cost seems to be around £50 for a double room (although this doesn't appear to include brekkie in some hotels....). Most of the bigger establishments actually in Dover are already booked up.
If anyone has any comments/suggestions to make re this...nows your chance! Maybe someone knows of the ideal stop-over place!

I'm afraid I have no suggestions as to where to stay, however I shall be staying overnight.

I'm staying overnight at my mum's in Chichester. Still got an hour and half drive on the sat morning to Dover, but still has to be better than a 4 hour drive from sunny old Bridgwater!!!!!

Just to remind the noisier people in our group i.e. James Curgenven!!!....Mr P does not like excessive noise at the breakfast table so please behave yourself!!! LMAO!
Anyone any idea of what time they plan to get to Ashford? James, Fiona, David and I are meeting up for a convoy down and having lunch en route so will be booking in mid afternoon I guess!
And...OT....how good is this Meguiars Quick Detailer stuff? I have a feeling it may be advisable to buy some to rid my car of grime over the weekend!

Mags QD doesn't wash the car, it is a very quick drying easy to apply polish touch up - removes kiddies finger marks etc.
A bottle of spa water from the nearest filling station to remove loose dirt before bed then the car is ready for a QD first thing in the morning. Spray on, move around with a soft cloth, wipe off with a mags magic wipe. Fresh shiny TF in less than 15 minutes. Then David can go back inside to join you at your breakfast table. ;D
