Welcome to the South Coast Region of the MGF Register. The Region is intended to cover the South Coast area from Southampton across to Bournemouth taking in Hampshire and East Wiltshire and East Dorset. Kris Ford will be the new rep for the area and is based in Eastleigh. This will nicely fill the area between the South East and the West Country reps.
Kris can be contacted on his own e-mail at present of kris@smjaccounting.co.uk
Keep an eye out for the first meeting in January or if you live in this area start posting now !

Good afternoon all. Firstly I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Year!! My apologies for being so quiet recently. Let me assure you that I am still very much interested in getting things up and running and that all I can do is ask for people to bear with me for a while. Reason being, ( and I appreciate that this is completely un-MG related, so apologise for that also! ) just before Christmas, myself and my company pitched for two new clients hoping to bag one of them at least. Well what do you know!?! Came back after Christmas to discover that we had in fact got BOTH! So, as you can imagine, things have gone absolutely mental. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy we got them, but I would like to get some sleep sometime soon! Anyway, I'm going off on a tangent. So, to sum up: I'm really sorry that I have not yet got back to people and realise that this is not the best of starts for me. I am most definitely still interested in making the South Coast F Register a fun and eventful group. I will be being more informative and responsive to people soon. And, I will be washing my car soon as it's gone from Yellow to Brown! That last one was just a reminder to me! ) Erm, if I have forgotten anything then please remind me as my head is currently frazzled! Look forward to speaking to everyone soon, Kris F.

No....You're absolutely right Tony! I have no excuse! Tim M, If you see this before Monday morning could you possibly e-mail any ideas or details you have regarding the 15th to my personal address " kris.ford@orange.net " please? Reason being, all my info is at work and I'd like to try and get some things organised this weekend while I've got some time. And if someone could possibly add a few more hours to the day that would be great! 24 is just not enough at the mo!!!

Ha Ha, yep! Just spotted it Adrian. And there was me thinking I was going to have to work my way up to 5 stars the long way! I've spotted the obvious additions but can't see any changes within threads etc. Is that normal or should I be able to see extra buttons for removal, modification of posts etc? Also, just had a speed read through regarding Feb 4th. Is this something that I should be looking at going to or does it not concern me? Your advice, as always, is appreciated! P.s. Hows your heat shield working for you? I've got to say, it looked superb!

Details on a pm
Heat shield seems to be fine, can't say I can feel any performance change one way or the other, but then I didn't really expect to. Just helps to keep that horrible hot air away, which is always going to be difficult with an open cone filter in an enclosed engine bay, your'e right it looks smart too.

HI..not sure where to introduce myself...here seems as good a place as any!!
Mikef - own a BRG TF, live near Basingstoke (and work in Basingstoke...)....anyone see a middle aged bald guy driving around the roundabouts, give us a wave!!
Have owned the car for about 6 weeks, and have possibly spent more time on forums discussing MGs than actually driving it!!
