Seven Tuns inn, Chedworth Gloucestershire GL54 4AE Description Run by genuinely friendly people, this little 17th-c pub is handy for the famous nearby Roman villa, and there are nice walks through the valley. The snug little no smoking lounge on the right has comfortable seats and decent tables, sizeable antique prints, tankards hanging from the beam over the serving bar, a partly boarded ceiling, and a good winter log fire in a big stone fireplace. Down a couple of steps, the public bar on the left has an open fire, and this opens into a no smoking dining room with another open fire. I'm afraid I shan't be joining you for this one. Although I now have fantastic brakes we also have just constructed a summer house, so a day of alcohol consumption will be taking place in it tomorrow Have a good one, and think of me lazing in an easy chair with some form of alcoholic beverage in my hand
